K9 Nose Work Classes

Introduction to K9 Nose Work Class. This is the beginner class. Have fun watching your dog use their noses!

Intro to K9 Nose Work Odor Class. In this class you and your dog will be searching for the odor of Birch, the first essential oil used in the sport.

Continued and Advanced K9 Nose Work Classes Drop In (continue reading).
Drop In Classes are individual classes.  You register for each individual class you want to attend.  This way you can come on the days that fit best into your schedule.  You MUST register for each individual class you want to attend. All drop in classes can be attended by anyone that has had odor classes before. Choose the class that best suits your schedule. We will always accommodate for anyone that comes.

After Intro to Odor you and your dog can continue to build your nose work skills by searching exteriors, vehicles, interiors and containers. Accessible hides will be worked in different environments & locations.  Pairing is still happening and you are working on a final response.  This takes place in any of the classes isted below.

Mondays nights starting July - 6pm
Weds 1:45pm, 6pm & 7:15pm
Friday 2:00pm, 6:00pm.  Will add 7:15 if there is enough call for it.
The dogs must be searching for odor, either birch, anise and-or clove.  Depending on the level the dogs are working at we will be working with accessible and inaccessible hides.

We have many students that attend the advanced classes according to what their schedules allow and not particularly by their skill level.  So I decided to make the advanced class one class that anyone can attend no matter the level they are working at.  The instructor will set the class up according to the skill level of those that attend.  I have found that those that are newer to the sport can learn valuable tips by watching those that have been doing it for a while.  The running order can reflect the levels at which the teams are at.  So let's give this a try and see how it goes.

****Drop In Classes provide the handler to sign up for individual classes so you can rotate around to fit your schedule.  You only pay for the classes you attend****
