Our goal in this class is to change the dogs negitive association toward strange and scary things to a positive. By engaging the dogs natural ability to use their nose we can activate a positive investigation process using Nose Work. We will start by pairing food to a box. The box will become a positive object to the dog. We can then pair the box to different objects, people and places. This can build confidence, reduct environmental sensitivity and provide mental and physical exercise through teamwork with their handler.

Our current training in this field allows us to provide some fun classes for you to enjoy with your dog. This sport uses the dog’s natural hunting and scenting ability to locate scent or odor. It's fun for all dogs. It is great for the dog that is under exercised, it can help build confidence, and reduce environmental sensitivities while working as a team with the handler.
